Rrini is a booking platform for short-stay apartments in the Albanian-speaking market, built for fast, last-minute bookings. Brigada built the platform from the ground up, and Brigada's founders are shareholders in Rrini.
A disclosure first: we own part of this one
Since July 2026, Brigada's founders, Endrit Saiti and Ardit Xhaferi, have been shareholders in Rrini. Endrit stayed on as a shareholder and technology partner, advising on the product and its technical direction.
That makes this case study different from the others on this page, so we are saying it at the top rather than in a footnote. Everything below describes the product as it is live at rrini.com and the code our team wrote.
The brief: book tonight, pay by card, walk in without a key
Rrini is built for the booking that happens late: someone who needs a place in Prishtina tonight, not in three weeks. So the product leads with three promises — instant booking, check-in without a physical key, and stays of three or six hours as well as by the night.
Guests search by place, dates and number of guests, filter by the kind of stay they want — city apartments, villas, mountain stays, pet-friendly, family or couples — and pay securely online by card, with prices in euros.
What hosts get
Owners list their place, set their own prices and rules, and message guests directly. Rrini's pitch to hosts is that they keep the full amount rather than paying a 15% commission to a global platform.
For owners who do not want to run it themselves, there is an optional management service: calendar sync with Booking.com and Airbnb, booking management across platforms, professional cleaning after each guest, tax declaration with ATK, and 24/7 guest communication.
The hard part: money and calendars
Two things decide whether a booking platform can be trusted: whether a payment confirms exactly one booking, and whether a night sold somewhere else stops being sold here. Both got more engineering than anything a guest sees.
Payments run through Paysera, as a card checkout and as QR bank payments reconciled automatically against the wallet's statements. Fulfilment is idempotent in two layers — a row lock inside a transaction and a unique constraint on the transaction id — so a statement that arrives twice cannot confirm a booking twice. A single booking state machine owns every status change; nothing updates a booking's status directly.
Calendars sync with Airbnb and Booking.com over iCal, so a night booked on another channel is blocked on Rrini. Guests get their check-in code and instructions, booking confirmations and reminders by SMS and email, which is what makes check-in without a physical key work.
Two languages, and guardrails from real bugs
Rrini runs in Albanian and English, server-rendered with Laravel 13, Inertia and React 19. A pre-push hook checks every push for parse errors, missing class references, undefined JavaScript variables, a client and SSR build that compiles — and any string that exists in only one language, so a guest never sees the wrong one.
Those checks exist because the same kind of bug once shipped three times in one week: green build, broken page in a guest's browser. The fix was not more care. It was a check that makes the mistake impossible to push.
Where it stands
Rrini is live in Prishtina and Podujeva, with Prizren, Peja, Gjakova and Ferizaj listed as coming soon. It is operated by Rrini Solutions L.L.C. in Prishtinë, built by a Brigada team, with Endrit Saiti as technology partner.
