We don't really know what we're doing. We just do it faster than people who do.
Brigada.dev, IT outsourcing and software development in Prishtina, Kosovo
Brigada is a small software studio in Kosovo. Eleven people. One product roadmap per client. We take ideas from empty repo to paying customers — web, mobile, infrastructure, and the growth work that keeps them there.
What we build.
Software outsourcing from Prishtinë for teams in the US, UK and Europe. Four things we do properly, and one we are quietly good at.
LLM pipelines, RAG, and agents. Built with the evals that keep them honest.
Laravel, React, Vue. Custom internal tools and customer-facing products.
iOS, Android, React Native. Ship to the store in weeks, not quarters.
AWS, Docker, Kubernetes. Pipelines, observability, and 24/7 on-call.
Technical SEO, content ops, and programmatic link building.
Products shipped.
Q.01“Appreciate you guys and Brigada.”
Q.02“All perfect — you have all done a fantastic work as always!”
Q.03“Brigada took the whole stack off our plate — calculator, employer dashboard, HMRC reporting. Sign-ups now convert without a single support call.”
The team.
Field notes.
Q.01How are you different from a freelance shop?+
This is the part of every agency website where the answer sounds the same. So: 11 humans, 2 years together, same engineers kickoff to year three, AI does the boring 60% so we can do the interesting 40%. Done. Next question.
Q.02What's your typical engagement?+
Three-to-six month product builds, followed by multi-year retainers. We also do 2-week discovery sprints when you're still figuring the scope out.
Q.03Where are you based and do you travel?+
Prishtinë, Kosovo. CET / EST overlap every day. We travel quarterly for larger engagements.
Q.04What's your hiring bar?+
We hire slowly. Every engineer has shipped revenue-generating product before they get to work on yours.
Q.05Do you build AI products, or just add AI features?+
Both, and the second one is harder than it sounds. We have shipped an LLM pipeline that writes regulator-compliant police reports, an agent platform running aparthotel portfolios, and a voice-first assistant on both app stores. The model is rarely the hard part. Evaluation is.
Q.06Can you work as our outsourced development team?+
That is most of what we do. Dedicated teams, fixed-scope project builds, or one or two engineers embedded in your existing team. We are in Central European Time, so you get the full working day with the UK and EU and afternoons with the US East Coast.
Q.07What technologies do you use?+
Laravel and PHP on the back, React and Vue on the front, React Native for mobile, Python where the work is data or AI, and AWS underneath. Deliberately boring, because boring is what we can still debug at speed in year three.
Q.08Who handles HR?+
There is no HR.
